As winter blows into its frigid worst, the University of Wyoming has released recommendations for safety and security on campus.

A university press released sent out Wednesday provided information to be safe during lengthy building closures or extremely cold weather.

The list includes:

  • Ensuring all doors are windows are fully closed, with windows latched;
  • report unusually cold areas, wet ceiling tiles and any doors that cannot be closed and secured;
  • using caution while walking and driving.

The National Weather Service forecasts snow Saturday, with a high of 24 degrees and a low of negative 6 degrees.
