BUFFALO - Edward "Ed" and Doris Kinion will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house Aug. 5, 2006, from 1-3 p.m. in Onderdonk Hall at St. Luke's Episcopal Church. Karen Athman, Kimberly Schrantz, and JoAnn Palmer are the hostesses. No gifts please, just cards with a special memory.
Ed Kinion and Doris M. Hahn were married Aug. 5, 2006, at All Souls Episcopal Church in Edgerton.
He worked for the City of Casper Police Department for 28 years. In 1987 he retired as the Chief of Police. They then moved to Buffalo where he went to work at the Buffalo Senior Center driving the "Bats Bus" until he retired in March of 2006.
She was/is very active as a volunteer at the Senior Center and St. Luke's Episcopal Church.
Their children are Kimberly and her husband Jim of Casper and Karen and her husband Leon of Pierz, Minn.
Their grandchildren are Justin, Jessica, Katelyn, and Rebecca Athman.
