Panic Relief Inc.

* A panic and anxiety group is now forming in Newcastle, featuring programs every Monday from noon-1 p.m. and every Wednesday from 6:30-7:30 p.m. The program is geared to help anyone suffering from panic, anxiety, and agoraphobia to cope with these disorders. Info: (732) 940-9658.

Gillette events

* April 3-26, the Campbell County Parks and Recreation Department will offer a Hip Hop dance class at the Recreation Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7-8 p.m. Cost is $25 per person. Info: (307) 682-8527.

* May 12, The Razor City Splash and Dash Sprint Distance Triathlon will be held at the Campbell County School Aquatic Center, 800 E. Warlow, with registration beginning at 7 a.m. and the triathlon beginning at 9 a.m. Preregistration fees are $25 for individuals, $40 for teams of two and $45 for teams of three. UW events

* April 4, 7:30 p.m., Mark O'Connor's Appalachia Waltz Trio will perform in the Fine Arts Center concert hall as part of the University of Wyoming Cultural Program's spring concert series. Tickets are $16 for students and seniors and $20 for the general public.

* April 5 at 7:30 p.m. and April 6-7 at 8 p.m., "Phantom Discourse: Life, Death, and Chicanism," an original play written and directed by University of Wyoming graduate Adrian Molina, will be performed in the College of Education auditorium. Tickets are $8 for students and $12 for the general public.

* April 6-7, the University of Wyoming Planetarium presents a laser show at 6:30 p.m. followed by a planetarium show at 8 p.m. in the lower level of the UW Science Complex. Tickets for each show are $2 for students and seniors, $3 for the general public and free for children ages five and under.

* April 11, 6 p.m., the University of Wyoming senior class and Student Activities Council present a performance by the Justin King Band in the Wyoming Union Skylight Lounge. Admission is free.

* April 12, 7:30 p.m., the University of Wyoming Symphony Orchestra presents "Titanic Struggle II," featuring guest piano soloist Davide Cabassi, in the Fine Arts Center concert hall. Tickets are $6 for students, $7 for seniors and $10 for the general public.

Lander community event

* April 14, from 3-6 p.m., the Lander community is hosting "Step It Up!," a National Day of Action to stop climate change. Meet with your bikes in Lander's City Park, 405 Fremont St., for a conversation with Tom Bell, Trey Warren, and Scott Kane, followed by a bike ride around the Squaw CreeknBaldwin Creek Loop. Free post-rally beer will be available at the Cowfish for participants.

Rawlins community event

* April 14, from 9 a.m.-noon, the Rawlins community is hosting "Step It Up!," a National Day of Action to stop climate change. Meet at The Old Depot in Rawlins for events including a slide show, prayer, candle-lighting, film showing, hybrid car test drives, garbology demo, lunch, door prizes and much more.

Lander Community Concert Association

* The 60th Anniversary Season of the Lander Community Concert Association continues with concerts being held in the Lander Valley High School auditorium, each beginning at 7 p.m. Season subscription tickets are $40 for adults, $15 for students (age 21 and under), and $90 for a family (two adults and affiliated students 21 and under). Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra

* The Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra presents its 2006-07 season entitled, "A World of Color," celebrating the brilliant colors that great composers use in creating masterpieces. There will also be a preconcert lecture before each performance by Maestro Stephen Alltop at 7 p.m. in the Civic Center auditorium. Info: (307) 778-8561. Cinco de Mayo event

* May 5, a Cinco de Mayo Fiesta will be held in Cheyenne featuring a parade at the Capitol at 11 a.m. with the Fiesta beginning at noon at the Cheyenne Depot. WAHA events

* May 12, the Wyoming Arabian Horse Association will host an ACS/Open Horse Show at HAAP Arena, 323 Sheep Camp Rd., in Pavillion. Spectators are encouraged to attend. The show features classes for Arabian/Half Arabian Horses and Open Classes for all breeds of horses with prizes awarded. Info: (307) 234-0968.

* June 1-2, the Wyoming Arabian Horse Association will host a Class A Arabian/Half Arabian Show at the Wyoming State Fairgrounds in Douglas. Owners of register horses are invited to participate. * June 3, the Wyoming Arabian Horse Association will host an all breed Open Horse Show at the Wyoming State Fairgrounds in Douglas. Help Krizinne Cross

* Aug. 18, 7 p.m., a fund raiser will be held for Dubois resident, Krizinne Cross, who is in need of a heart transplant. The event will take place at the Headwaters featuring a concert/cowboy poetry with Waddie Mitchell.

Cowboys Against Cancer

* Nov. 3, 2007, the annual benefit for the Cowboys Against Cancer will be held at the Sweetwater County Events Complex, 3320 Yellowstone Rd. in Rock Springs, with doors opening at 4 p.m. and dinner being served at 6 p.m. A live auction and dance will follow. Stammtisch

* A lunchtime group for German speakers or learners meets the first and third Tuesday of the month from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Cheyenne. Info: (307) 771-8706.

Women in Black

* First Wednesday of each month, from noon-1 p.m., meet in front of the courthouse on Center and B Streets. All who share a concern for a just and peaceful world are invited to join this silent vigil. If you come please dress in black, stand in silence (no marching, banners, or confrontations), stay on the sidewalk, don't block walkers or cars, and respond to questions.

Cheyenne Municipal Pool

* Through May 30, the Cheyenne Municipal Pool will have Family Night every Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. Admission will be $5 per family up to five swimmers. Additional family members are $0.50 each, (immediate family members only). Info: (307) 637-6455.

* Through May 25, the Cheyenne Municipal Pool will have Teen Night every Friday from 7-9 p.m. Admission is $2 for those ages 13-17. Info: (307) 637-6455.

Parent-education seminars

* The Wyoming Children's Access Network provides parent-education seminars for divorcing, separated and never-married parents. The seminar is provided monthly in Casper, Cheyenne, Cody, Gillette, Jackson, Lander, Laramie, Rawlins, Rock Springs, Sheridan and Torrington and provides information about the impact of parental conflict on children and teaches the parents skills to help with the difficult transition. Grandparents, aunts, uncles and other adults close to the children are welcome to attend as well.There is a nominal fee for the seminar that may be waived upon request, based on need.
