Wanted: Baby-sitters

Arbor Day event

Juneteenth

Beginning at noon in Riverview Park, west of the intersection of North McKinley and East L streets. The historic day will be celebrated with a free barbecue and afternoon of fellowship. U.S. Rep. Barbara Cubin will be the guest speaker; Casper Police and Fire departments will have information on meth awareness and fire safety, respectively. Casper Mayor Guy Padgett will read a proclamation and City Manager Tom Forslund will have remarks. Basketball, volleyball, wiffle ball and horseshoes will be available. June 19, 1865, is considered to be the date the last slaves in America were freed. CNFR Style Show
