Editor:
I am writing to express my sincere thanks to the Natrona County Public Library Foundation for their recent purchase of the former American Pipeyard as a future library building site. Thank you, also, to the numerous civic-minded donors who contributed to make this purchase possible.
While the Library Board has no plan to move forward with a capital campaign for a new library at this time, we are extremely grateful for the Foundation’s efforts and their contributors’ strong support. At a future date, when community members agree it is time to build, this property will reduce the overall project cost since it will already be available.
On behalf of the Library Board, thank you for this very generous contribution to help build our community’s future.
CHARLES ROBERTSON, Casper
President, Natrona County
Public Library Board
