With all the changes that could possibly occur to our current health system, I'm concerned that some in Congress intend to eliminate Flexible Spending Accounts.
FSAs allow patients to deduct from their paycheck, before taxes, money to budget for upcoming health expenses and save hundreds of dollars for services that their insurance doesn't cover. FSAs can be used for all kinds of health care needs, including alternative medical care such as acupuncture.
I wonder about unintended consequences of reforms that could cause health care costs to actually go up rather than down.
