Editor:
I want to take the time to remind everyone this holiday weekend not to drink and drive.
The very least of your worries is a DUI charge where you have to pay lots of money when you could have taken a cab and saved that money. However, you could end up taking someone's life or permanently injuring them or yourself.
I spend every day of my life in pain due to a drunk driver rear-ending me almost five years ago. Please don't drink and drive. Your party isn't worth the life of someone else. And this goes for those out at the lake in a boat as well. Look at how many lives have been taken because of drinking and driving; please don't let it be yours.
