True to their mission statement, Sens. John Barrasso and Mike Enzi, along with their beloved party of no, voted "no" to extend unemployment benefits to the unfortunate Americans who are suffering during this great recession.

Keep in mind, of course, that their beloved party of no, who held the reins of the financial security of this country for the last eight years, are, in fact, the primary reason that the world suffered this global meltdown of epic proportions. They voted for deregulation, and insisted that greed/capitalism, unchecked, and unbridled, was indeed the way forward in this century. Well, guess what -- they were wrong then, they are wrong now, and their vision is wrong for the future.

However, that seems irrelevant to Barrasso and Enzi. They continue to wage war against our president, the majority in Congress, and indeed, the majority of citizens in this country. They insist on continuing down the road of carnage they created.

As millions of unemployed Americans struggle to keep a roof over their heads and food on their tables, these two who were sent to D.C. to represent us could care less about those less fortunate. Our taxes pay their salaries, provide them with the best health care this country

can offer, and allow them to jet-set back and forth from Washington so they can catch the local football games here in Wyoming, and they have the nerve to vote no when it comes to extending unemployment benefits, and the nerve to vote no when it comes to the average working-class getting competitive and affordable health care. It's time for them to stay home! Wyoming needs to get serious about sending thoughtful, intellectually honest senators to represent more than just the hard core right-wing Wyoming ideologues who jump up and cheer when those two "just say no."

As an aside, regarding Afghanistan, the next time anyone sees Cheney in Wyoming, you might want to remind him that both he and Bush "dithered" for eight years in the graveyard of civilizations (Afghanistan). So, then, it begs to be asked, why the big hurry now?
