Volunteers key to painting event

The staff at Wyoming Housing Network, Inc. would like to thank the many volunteers that made Paint Your Heart Out 2009 a huge success. Thirteen homes located in Casper, Mills and Evansville were painted by the following teams: Pro Paint, First United Methodist, Bank of the West/BW Insurance, Casper Police Department, First Interstate Bank, Hilltop National Bank, Mike's Painting, Natrona County Development, Platte Valley Bank, Remax the Group, Rocky Mountain Oncology, Wall Designs Painting, Home Depot, WESC Federal Credit Union and numerous individuals.

Supplies and paint for 12 houses were provided by Home Depot and Behr Paint. Sherwin Williams supplied paint for the 13th house. Other community sponsors were Remax the Group, Hilltop National Bank, Mark Shugart, Wells Fargo Foundation, Cheryl Feraud State Farm, Sherwin Williams, Myra Fox Skelton Foundation, Indian Ice, Pepsi, McMurray Construction, First United Methodist Church, Wyoming Community Development Authority, and Groathouse Construction.

Wyoming Community Development Authority (WCDA) kicked off the event by providing breakfast for all volunteers, recipient families and sponsors. Lunch was provided by Safeway, Wal-mart, Sam's Club, Subway, LaCocina, Chatter�s, Old Chicago, and Hometown Buffet.

Our heartfelt thanks to Mitch and the crew at Pro Paint, Frank Telles at Wall Design Painting and Mike at Mike�s Painting for their expertise and preparation of houses prior to the event. Special thanks to the committee that worked tirelessly to coordinate the event and to Keith Jones at the Mills Fire Department for checking the health and welfare of the teams throughout the day.

We are proud to partner with these sponsors and volunteers to make our community a better place to live and are looking forward to Paint Your Heart Out 2010.
