That's why it's called free speech

In the two plus years I have lived in Wyoming and have been reading the Tribune, there has been one steady writer that makes my blood boil. I would say that I disagree with him about 99 percent of the time. It has gotten to the point that when my wife hears me ranting and raving from the next room she knows that this gentleman has written another letter. I ask myself how could anyone with the IQ higher than their shoe size believe in what he is writing. I also noticed that this person in always being called out on the carpet for what he says. Been a lot of name calling from both sides when they attack each other.

He believes in gay marriage, I don't. He believes in making pot legal, I don't, and he believes in our new president and I surely don't. There are many other things that I could mention but that would take too much space. I don't know this person, I have never met him. I do, however, respect his opinion and do not feel naming calling and bashing does any good toward either person's cause.

I am speaking of Mr. Dino Wenino. It is his right to say the things that he believes in just has it is ours not to take his point of view. I would like to meet Mr. Wenino someday over maybe a cup of coffee. I doubt either of us could change our minds on the different things we believe in but I suspect it would be one lively conversation and might even draw some kind of news coverage. So lay off the name calling and bickering and let each give their opinions.

MIKE JENKINS, Casper
