Guns guarantee violence is deadly

More half of gun deaths are suicides!

Could the easy availability and accessibility of hand guns and AK47 automatic rifles for drug addicts, domestic abusers, potential felons and criminals, the mentally ill, alcoholics, hot tempered reactionaries, those who disagree with you, as well as those who are potentially suicidal and do take their lives as the "easy way out " be curbed by making and enforcing sensible gun laws?

My nephew, age 40, was shot and killed in Denver during a car jacking. The felon was only 25 and is now in prison for the rest of his life.

It is a fact that more than 30,000 children are killed each year from gun violence and more are wounded. The hospitals are filled with victims of violent attacks, mostly from guns.

My neighbor and friend in Casper was killed by a gunman in an airport parking lot some years ago.

Sen. Enzi is so very happy with the latest Supreme Court rule that the hand gun ban has been lifted in Washington, D.C. "Now he can "protect" himself.

My house was robbed twice in broad daylight, but having a gun would not have made any difference.

The highly paid lobby, the NRA says,"People kill people, not guns." If that is true why not send just people over to Iraq to the war?

Now, in America, there are enough guns around for every American to have at least four guns! We don't need more handguns and AK47's, especially to go hunting.

Could not the NRA, which is interested in responsible gun ownership, rally our Congress to help with the idea of sensible gun registration (as with automobiles), which, in my opinion, would save lives? Also, they could help with the pursuit and prosecution of illegal gun dealers, have background checks - all resulting in the prevention of so much gun violence?.

The Supreme Court decision is a sham because it means more guns, more violence, more folks having their right to a peaceful life taken away.
