Recently, Wyoming state leaders demonstrated their commitment to putting the welfare of residents first and foremost by signing a partnership with Alpine Access, a home-based call center, to bring more than 100 new, work-from-home jobs to the state. As an Alpine Access executive, I wanted to take this opportunity to let the residents of Casper know how Wyoming's Department of Workforce Services is proactively finding ways to improve the economy and help residents enjoy a higher quality of life.
Wyoming's leaders have shown tremendous vision in bringing the benefits of a virtual company to the state. Not only do hired residents get to enjoy the life balance of a work-from-home position, but virtual call centers are much easier on the environment than traditional centers. By eliminating commutes and the need for large office spaces, virtual centers reduce gas consumption, eliminate CO2 emissions and decrease carbon dioxide output.
Wyoming is leading the way nationally by partnering with us for the specific goal of job creation and we have already had amazing response. During a recent trip to your state, I was extremely impressed with the vast experience residents have and the enthusiasm each person displayed. For these reasons, we eagerly anticipate adding more Wyoming residents to our employee work force.
