Silly labels for Obama

Some people who are displeased with President Barack Obama are throwing different epithets at him hoping something will stick. The most silly phrase is that he is a socialist-fascist.

Obama can not simultaneously be both. A socialist is a mirror opposite of a fascist.

Socialism, like communism, controls the means of production, distribution and exchange and usually restricts private enterprise and gives small portions to little people, while the rulers pig out like in communist North Korea.

Fascism always take a dictatorial form as in Nazi Germany. Hitler and the military industry that helped him gain power coexisted happily as they sucked to death all of the economy to build weapons of war. The U.S. government has been doing the same since Hitler was defeated, even bringing Hitler's missile bombmakers to the U.S.A. and we have had permanent worldwide war ever since.

Some throw the word communist at Obama with bumper stickers that say "Obamanism." But communism in China is not considered a threat anymore because China is a $2 trillion lender to the U.S.A.

During the 1940s to 1960s right-wingers destroyed the livelihood of people in the movie business by calling them communists. And it would seem that in this age people would be intelligent enough not to destroy someone who would criticize those in power. But we've seen the Dixie Chicks wiped out of country music because one of them made a remark about President George W. Bush.

Bush said he was a compassionate conservative. But he invaded Iraq based on lies and did not conserve and wasted our national wealth.

Calling someone a liberal these days has no sting and is more of a joke. But the word liberal fits best of Obama.
