It has recently been brought to our attention that most people do not know that there is more than one hospice in Casper. Central Wyoming Hospice and Transitions Program is the only area hospice founded and governed by our community. When it is time to make the decision for end-of-life care, a call to Central Wyoming Hospice and Transitions Program will provide you with a 28-year history of compassion. We are committed to being a "step above" the rest.

We have heard that a rumor is circulating that Central Wyoming Hospice Program only provides care in our hospice homes. Our services began in 1981 with services being brought to the patient's residence. This continues to hold true today.

Our commitment to being a step above the rest includes:

- Inpatient and outpatient hospice services.

- Response to all referrals within 24 hours.

- Central Wyoming Hospice outpatients have priority for hospice home placement if necessary.

- Option of respite care in the hospice home for our outpatients.

- RNs on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week to meet outpatient needs.

- Access to an interdisciplinary team including the hospice medical director, RNs, social worker, bereavement counselor, hospice aide, chaplain and volunteers.

- Participation in a nationwide quality assurance program ensuring that we strive to maintain best practices in providing hospice care.

- 28 years of experience in providing hospice care in Natrona County.

- A full spectrum of bereavement services.

If someone you know is in need of end-of-life services, it is important that you specify to your physician that you wish to receive services from Central Wyoming Hospice and Transitions Program. For the past 28 years, through the busts and booms, we have been here for our community.

Thank you for showing your confidence in us through your past 28 years of support.

MARILYN CONNOR, Casper
