Editor:
Even as unemployment in the USA nears 10 percent, one business sector is booming. It's outsourcing U.S. jobs to other countries.
More and more U.S. corporations are eliminating employees here as they shift their operations and jobs to low-wage workers outside the U.S.A.
President Barack Obama and Congress are nothing but big talk and empty rhetoric about creating jobs and measures to keep good jobs in the U.S.A. while they allow the greedy corporate executives to use their paid lobby to prevent any action to stop globalization of outsourcing U.S. jobs.
Multibillion dollar outfits like Honeywell and Hewlett Packard are closing plants in the U.S. and eliminating jobs but at the same time investing to build new plants in India. They feel no allegiance to American workers as they fill their own pockets by paying low wages to workers in foreign countries.
Insurance giants, drug makers and corporate companies of every kind are joining in the abandonment of the U.S. worker. They say "it's less costly" for them. Never mind what it cost America.
If these profiteers have no loyalty to the American workers, why be loyal to them? There should be no government subsidies and stimulus dollars going to them.
If President Obama is the people's president like he claims to be, then he needs to stop every single benefit that goes to those outsourcing the future of U.S. working people.
With 10 percent unemployment in the U.S.A., why are all these tax dollars going to Obama's war in Afghanistan to create jobs and build stuff there and buy off corrupt tribe leaders to pay them not to grow opium poppy fields?
It's time to put Americans first in line.
