I want to express my gratitude to Congresswoman Cynthia Lummis for her recent visit to our community last week. The meeting was open to the pubic and many here took up the opportunity to voice their concerns that she addressed in a very open and thoughtful manner.

With Wyoming’s congressional district being one of the largest in the nation visiting the numerous communities is no small task, especially when you spend the work week on the other side of the country.

Furthermore I learned at the meeting that Lummis has her main staff person, the chief of staff in her district office while the majority are located in the D.C. offices. This exemplifies the congresswoman’s desire to stay connected to the people she is representing in our nation’s capitol.

Even though I don’t share many of the same political views as the congresswoman, I want to thank her for visiting our community and listening to the concerns of everyday people.
