Beer pouring

A customer pours a beer from the self-pour tap at Accomplice Beer Company in Cheyenne. The brewery is one of more than two dozen throughout Wyoming.

Wyoming's wide open spaces are good for a lot of things: cattle, scenery, powerful winds and, more recently, breweries.

While Colorado may be better known for its craft beer scene, Wyoming brewers have been busy in recent years producing a number of local beer options. Breweries are open and ready for curious travelers in almost every corner of the state.

From a brewery in a barn tucked in mountain foothills to more modern spaces in Cheyenne, the Cowboy State likely has a fit for every kind of beer drinker.

Hitting the road soon? See what breweries might be on your way. Or, even better, make a road trip out of visiting these establishments.
