MOOSE, Wyo. (AP) - The seasonal closure of Grand Teton National Park's Moose-Wilson and Teton Park roads is expected to begin Sunday night.

As during autumns past, the roads will remain open to hikers, bikers and in-line skaters until snow begins accumulating on them, park officials said Monday.

The roads will then be open to skiers and snowshoers.

The snowmobiling season is scheduled to begin Dec. 17.

Teton Park Road will be closed between the Taggart Lake parking area and Signal Mountain Lodge parking lot. The Moose-Wilson Road will be closed between the Granite Canyon and Death Canyon trailheads.

In the John D. Rockefeller, Jr., Memorial Parkway, Grassy Lake Road will close for the winter season starting with the first major snowstorm.

U.S. 26-89-191 remains open through the park during the winter.
