* Bighorn Mountain Polka Club, Sheridan Elks Lodge. Music for dancing, performed by the Wyoming Drifters, will begin at 1 p.m. Members are asked to bring: A-H, salads; I-O, main dishes; P-Z, desserts.

Christmas programs

* "G.I. Holiday JukeBox," featuring seasonal music appropriate for all ages, will be presented at 2 p.m. in Mary Godfrey Playhouse, Cheyenne. Tickets are $18 for adults, $16 for senior citizens, and $12 for students and children. Info: (307) 638-6543.

* The Cowboy Branch of the American Red Cross in Worland hosts a "Cowboy Christmas Benefit Concert," featuring the Bar J Wranglers of Jackson, at 7 p.m. in the new middle-school auditorium in Worland; and 7 p.m. Dec. 19 in Northwest College auditorium in Powell. Half of the proceeds will benefit this year's hurricane victims and the other half will benefit the local disaster relief fund, which serves residents of Park, Washakie, Big Horn and Hot Springs counties. Swimming

* Recreational swims at CMP are offered from 7-9 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 1-4:30 p.m. Sunday. A holiday food drive continues. On Dec. 22, admission to lap and recreational swim sessions will be $1 per person with a canned food item. Info: (307) 637-6455.

* 2 p.m., Central Library, Cheyenne. "Ice Cream Sunday" for all ages. Admission is free.

Coming Up

Campbell County Parks and Recreation

* Registration continues through Jan. 2 for Indoor Soccer for all youth in grades pre-K through 6. Practices and games will be held each meeting. Fee is $19 per child.

* Open Gym Basketball is offered at South Campus High School from 1-5 p.m. Sundays. Fees are $1.50 for elementary and younger; $2 for junior-high and high school; $3 for adults; and $7.25 for families. There is no charge for members of the Rec Center.

* Registration begins Dec. 19 and continues through Jan. 6 for Junior High Boys' Basketball. Practices start Jan. 9 and will run Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:20-5:15 p.m. Fee is $15 per player.

* The Ice Arena will be open for public skating during the Christmas school break: 1-4 p.m. Monday-Friday, 7-8:30 p.m. Friday and 3-6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The facility will be closed Dec. 24-25.

* Pre-registration ends Dec. 29 at the Rec Center for the 15th annual Runner's Resolution 5K, scheduled to start at 1 p.m. sharp on Dec. 31 at Campbell County Public Library, 2101 S. 4J Road. Race-day registration will be held from noon-12:45 p.m. at the library. Pre-registration fees are $16 for a sweatshirt and $13 for a long-sleeved T-shirt; race-day fees are $21/$18. Entry forms are available at the Rec Center.

* CC Parks and Recreation hosts a New Year's Eve Overnight, for grades 1-6, from 8 p.m. Dec. 31 to 8 a.m. Jan. 1 in the Rec Center. Registration ends at noon Dec. 30 and is limited to 60 participants. Each child needs to bring a swimsuit, towel, sleeping bag, pillow, and snack. Activities include swimming, games, movies, basketball, and a party at midnight. Fee is $15 per child.
