A motorcyclist died in a Labor Day crash west of Sheridan, according to the Wyoming Highway Patrol. The driver of a pickup truck that caused the crash is being investigated for driving under the influence of alcohol.

The crash occurred at about 3:50 p.m. Monday. According to the highway patrol, Russell Desantis, 35, of Sheridan, was driving his Ford F-150 eastbound on U.S. Highway 14 when he drifted right onto a shoulder, then overcorrected left into oncoming traffic.
