CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - The carcasses of 23 geese - only one with its meat taken - were found along a roadside here, prompting a state Game and Fish Department investigation.
The birds were probably shot in Goshen County and dumped in Cheyenne last week, game warden Mark Nelson said.
Nelson said the hunter probably didn't want to clean all the geese.
Game and Fish is asking anyone with information to contact the agency.
