* Nov. 11, 8 p.m., College of Arts and Sciences auditorium. Banjoist Bela Fleck and bassist Edgar Meyer perform in concert. Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for others.

Guitar Summit

* Nov. 12, Central Wyoming College, Riverton. An inaugural "Guitar Summit" features Wyoming artists Jeff Troxel, CWC guitar instructor and 2003 national flat-picking champion; Jalan Crossland, a national finger-picking champion; singer-songwriter Michael Hurwitz; and Grammy winner Mike Dowling. A concert is scheduled at 7:30 p.m. in Robert A. Peck Arts Center Theatre. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students and children, and $25 per family. Master classes begin at 10 a.m.; students will be given one hour with each master. Cost for classes and concert is $30 per student. * Yellowstone Jazz Festival's "Yellowstone Jazz Alive!" series continues with the Shawn Mickelson Trio of Laramie, performing from 6-8 p.m. Nov. 12 at QT's Restaurant in Cody. Admission is free, with no cover charge. Dinner reservations may be made by calling (307) 587-5555.

GSA history

* Through Nov. 13, Robert A. Peck Arts Center Gallery, Central Wyoming College, Riverton: "Heart of Gold" celebrates 50 years of Girl Scouting in Wyoming with exhibits including the American Heritage Center's "Japanese American Girl Scouts at Heart Mountain 1942-1945" and a display of Girl Scout uniforms from the 1930s to the presents; and projects related to a special badge offered by the Wyoming Girl Scout Council.
