LARAMIE -- University of Wyoming trustees plan to meet Friday to consider authorizing up to $750,000 for a climate-modeling supercomputer west of Cheyenne.
Construction of the National Center for Atmospheric Research facility is expected to begin next year.
Trustees will consider Friday whether to authorize funds from the university block grant to complete architectural and engineering work for the facility.
The university says trustees don't plan to discuss any other topic during the meeting.
