Christmas programs

* The 37th annual Christmas House, a fundraiser for GFWC Women's Civic League of Cheyenne, will be open from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Historic Governors' Mansion, 300 E. 21st St., Cheyenne. This year's theme is "Faith, Hope and Love." Admission is $5 for adults and free for children under 5. All proceeds benefit Laramie County.

* Frontier United Methodist Church Craft Sale, 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m., Powderhouse and Four Mile roads, Cheyenne.

* Veterans of Foreign Wars No. 1881 Craft Show, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., 2816 E. Seventh St., Cheyenne.

* Craft Show and Sale, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., First Congregational Church, 3501 Forest Drive, Cheyenne.

* Today, Alta Vista PTO's "Holiday Fest 2005" craft show and sale, 1514 E. 16th St., Cheyenne.

* Douglas Senior Center's annual Craft Fair and Bake Sale will take place from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at 340 First St. The center's West Indian tacos and cinnamon rolls will be available. A silent auction will be held, with gifts donated by local merchants. Proceeds benefit the center's Community Based In Home Service Project.

* Today and Dec. 4, 4-7 p.m., Trail End State Historic Site, 400 Clarendon Ave., Sheridan. The annual Open House features period decorations and figgy pudding. Musical entertainment includes Bachelor Bob, Sing-Along Singers and Bo and Jo today and guitarist Terry Garrison, organist Charlene Church, and pianist Wendy Mort on Sunday. * Four Jackson Hole musical groups will present "Christmas in Concert" at 7 p.m. today and 3 p.m. Dec. 4 in Main Stage Theatre, Pink Garter Plaza, 50 W. Broadway, Jackson. Admission is free to the family event; donations will be accepted at the door.

* Central Wyoming College's 2005-2006 theater season continues with "Shooting Stars" - a comedy set in Christmas week 1962 about a professional touring women's basketball team playing against a small-town men's team - at 7:30 p.m. in Robert A. Peck Arts Center's little theater in Riverton. The play is rated PG. UW events

* 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m., UW Art Museum. "Happy Holidays, Laramie!" and the Festival of Trees features musical performances, artwork by Albany County students, art-making activities, and refreshments.

Family event

* Star Anime will be presented from 10:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. at Central Library, Cheyenne. Admission is free.

Campbell County Parks and Recreation

* A free Jingle Bell Hike to Santa will take place from 2-4 p.m. in Cam-Plex Park. Families will walk along a decorated path to the WPA Building to visit Santa and Mrs. Claus, who will have cookies to decorate and toys to give away.

* Family Fun Night will be offered from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at CC Pool. Bring inner tubes and pool toys. Regular drop-in fees apply: $1.50 for youth, $2 for junior/senior high, $3 for adults, and $7.25 for a family.
