CHEYENNE -- Construction of a new interchange on Interstate 25 south of Cheyenne was one of more than $30.4 million in contracts awarded by the Wyoming Transportation Commission during its recent meeting here.
Reiman Corp. of Cheyenne submitted the low bid of $6.3 million to build the interchange about seven miles south of Cheyenne.
The project will provide access to High Plains Road, which will connect to Clear Creek Parkway, a new road that will extend north to College Drive, the commission said in a media release.
The site will get a new visitors' center along with possible commercial development along Clear Creek Parkway. The completion date is Oct. 15.
