MOOSE, Wyo. (AP) - A minor earthquake rattled a remote part of Teton County on Wednesday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The magnitude 4.0 quake struck at 9:54 a.m. about 22 miles northeast of Jackson in Bridger-Teton National Forest, not far from the Gros Ventre Wilderness.
A receptionist at Jackson Lake Lodge, about 30 miles north of Jackson in Grand Teton National Park, and Jackson residents said they did not feel the earthquake.
A Teton County dispatcher said no damage was reported and law enforcement officials did not hear about the quake except for a call from the Geological Survey.
