CHEYENNE -- Gov. Dave Freudenthal has appointed Catherine R. Rogers as the new Laramie County Circuit Court judge.

Rogers is a long time resident of Cheyenne and has been a Laramie County Circuit Court magistrate.

The governor's office says Rogers has extensive experience with elder law, estate planning and administration, small business organization and support, commercial litigation and criminal defense.

She replaces former Laramie County Circuit Judge Thomas Campbell, who was recently appointed to a district court judgeship.
