CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - The Democratic National Committee is taking a closer look at Wyoming's U.S. House race, state Rep. Wayne Reese, D-Cheyenne, said.
Reese, the state House minority leader, said he spoke with national committee members in Boston at the national convention this week.
Some committee members see this year's race as winnable at least against Republican incumbent Barbara Cubin, he said.
He notes they do not believe it will be an easy win. They also did not tell him which of the three Democratic Party candidates they feel has the best shot. The three are John Henley, Al Hamburg and Ted Ladd.
Cubin faces four opponents from her own party in the August primary.
