CHEYENNE - Vice President Dick Cheney will be in Wyoming at the end of the week to speak at a reception for newly appointed Sen. John Barrasso.
The reception will be Friday evening at the Couloir Restaurant in Teton Village and will be closed to the public.
Gov. Dave Freudenthal appointed Barrasso in June following the death of Sen. Craig Thomas.
A release from Cheney's office also says the vice president will be in Salt Lake City earlier in the day Friday to speak to the Council for National Policy.
That event also will be closed to the public.
