University of Wyoming President Philip Dubois will be introduced today as chancellor at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte, according to the Charlotte Observer.
A source close to the search confirmed that UNC President Molly Broad has chosen Dubois as her nominee to succeed James Woodward, who is retiring in June. The UNC Board of Governors is to hold a formal vote late this morning.
Dubois, a former UNC-Charlotte provost - the school's top academic job - will be introduced to the Charlotte community this afternoon at a 4 p.m. reception.
Broad met privately this morning with the search committee, the Observer reporter.
