Rouene (Ellison) Satterfield, 92, died June 29 at the BSA Hospice in Amarillo, Texas. She was born on March 18, 1917 in Burlington, Wyoming to Alonso Fremont Ellison and Abigail Nell (Pate) Ellison. She attended primary schools in Greybull, Wyoming and high school in Thermopolis, graduating

in l935. She married Robert Grant Satterfield on June 16, 1934. They lived for many years in Casper and Glenrock and were members of Our Savior Lutheran Church. They retired to Camarillo, California.

After her husband's death in l983 she lived near her daughter Carolyn Crabtree in Eugene, Oregon; Vancouver, Washington and Amarillo, Texas. She enjoyed traveling, painting, reading and was a grand master bridge player.

She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Crabtree of Amarillo, Texas and a son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Eryn Satterfield of Cheyenne, Wyoming; eight grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Kay Deveraux; brothers, Dillion Ellison, Lee Ellison, Claude Ellison; sisters, Myrtle Weber, Ella Perkins, Lilly Maret, Carrie Burns and Madge Early.

Cremation has taken place in Amarillo Texas, a family memorial service will take place in the fall.
