The Casper man who has been missing since Oct. 24 was found alive, one day after rescuers suspended a two-week search for him.
Stewart Anderson, Natrona County Emergency Manager, confirmed that Travis McMahan had been found alive in the southern Big Horn Mountains, but knew few details about his condition.
Carol Lawrence, fiance of McMahan's father Dave, cried at the news that he'd been found.
"All I know is that a bunch of friends of Dave's went up today, just for one more search before the weather changed," she said during a phone interview. "I don't know who found him, all I know is that he could talk, and he could stand, and this is a miracle. I swear it's just a miracle. It's an answer from God to all our prayers."
Travis McMahan went missing during a hunting trip, when he left his campsite at Buffalo Creek Campground, roughly 35 miles north of Waltman.
