Born and raised in Wyoming I feel it is time for me to reach out, at the age of 86, and express my gratitude as well as personal opinion about our beautiful, cold and windy state.

Five stars to the Republican women and volunteers for placing memorial wreaths on the graves at eh Oregon Trail Veterans Cemetery. I am thankful that people appreciate all the men and women that serve our country and allies.

A big praise to the Episcopal churches in Wyoming for providing money toward suicide prevention after our state funding was cut.

Do we need a conference center? Absolutely not. We have the Events Center, several large hotels, fantastic new high schools and college, plus new or remodeled senior centers. Old abandoned buildings downtown should be torn down or sold by the owners. Taxpayers don't need the burden.

What a wonderful thing Dr. Groobman of Platte County is doing by saving laboratory animals and giving the a new home and care.

Wyoming continues to raise great, knowledgeable, generous individuals. Let's keep it that way!

Oh, yes. Eat meat, we need ranchers and farmers.
