I think that the people who own the food trucks have just as much right to earn a living as the brick-and-mortar businesses. Also, don't we as consumers have a right to choose? I for one happen to love the food some of those food trucks put out. No one else in Casper offers some of that fresh homemade food. I feel that there is enough business to go around for both. We need to concern ourselves with our neighbors, not just always be about me, me, me! When did Casper adopt this selfish "all about me" attitude? Do the brick-and-mortar businesses own the parking spaces in front of their businesses? What ever happened to respect and common courtesy for other people? For our neighbors? We live in such a selfish, disrespectful world today and it is really disheartening. Is this really what we want to teach our children/grandchildren? Is this the legacy we want to leave our children/grandchildren? Someone has to take the first step if we are ever going to get back to caring about someone other than ourselves.
It's time Casper took that first step.
