The Casper College basketball teams had a tough night Tuesday against Western Nebraska Community College in Scottsbluff, Nebraska.

The women's team, which just entered the NJCAA Top 25 at No. 18 earlier in the day, lost 77-72 while the men's team was routed 102-70.

The women's team (10-2) entered the fourth quarter tied with the Cougars at 53-all, but WNCC outscored the Thunderbirds 24-19 to get the win.

Emily Robertson (Natrona County) led four T-Birds in double figures with 15 points. Bruna Vila Artigues (14), Paula Orenes Sanchez (13) and Lucie Hoskova (10) also finished in double digits.

The men's team (9-4) trailed 40-19 at the half and never recovered as its six-game winning streak came to an end.

Antun Maricevic led the T-Birds with 17 points, while Nolan Bertain added 14 and Isaiah Banks 12.
