The Casper College men's basketball team has signed two players in the past week.
On Monday, the Thunderbirds received a commitment from Philip Pepple Jr., a senior at Shorecrest High School in Shoreline, Washington. The 6-foot-9, 235-pound Pepple averaged 22 points and 11 rebounds per game this season.
Friday, the T-Birds added 6-3 shooting guard Braxton Bertolette from Northwest Florida State College. Bertolette played in 26 games, including one start, for the Raiders and averaged 4.0 points per game.
Bertolette was a prolific scorer at Fossil Ridge High School in Loveland, Colorado. He led Class 5A in scoring each of his last two years, averaging 28.1 points per game as a senior. Bertolette shot 43 percent from behind the arc and made 16 3-pointers in a game as a junior.
