Chase Winchester scored 31 points to lead the Casper College men's basketball team to a 97-94 victory at Miles (Mont.) Community College on Friday.

With the win, the Thunderbirds (14-4, 2-0 Region IX North) improved to 3-0 in the new year.

Antun Maricevic added 14 points and eight rebounds, Blake Godwin (Sheridan) pitched in 11 points and Isaiah Banks had 10. Jackson Stent and Octavion Corley had nine points apiece.

The T-Birds are back on the road Wednesday when they play at Western Wyoming Community College.
