The Casper College men's basketball team opened its Region IX North season in convincing fashion Thursday, rolling to a 117-47 victory over Little Big Horn College in Crow Agency, Montana.

Blake Godwin (Sheridan) made 6 of 8 3-pointers and scored a game-high 24 points to lead the Thunderbirds (13-4, 1-0).

The T-Birds had three players finish with double-doubles as Antun Maricevic scored 23 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, Jackson Stent had 21 and 10 and Octavion Corley finished with 19 and 10 in addition to four blocked shots.

Casper College plays at Miles Community College on Friday.
