The Casper College men's basketball team started its Thanksgiving Classic in winning fashion Thursday, defeating Colorado Northwestern Community College 80-67.

Antun Maricevic led the Thunderbirds (6-3) with 17 points, 11 rebounds and five assists. Wilfried Likayi and Damian Wilson also scored in double figures with 13 and 12, respectively.

Casper College, which has now won three in a row, also got nine points from Nolan Bertain and eight apiece from Miguel Levy and Blake Godwin (Sheridan).

The T-Birds played Lamar Community College late Friday before closing the tournament by hosting Rexburg United on Saturday.
