The Casper College women's basketball team used a big fourth quarter to pull away for a 65-50 victory over Miles (Mont.) Community College on Wednesday at Swede Erickson Thunderbird Gym.

The 17th-ranked T-Birds (23-2, 9-0 Region IX North) held a 49-46 lead heading into the final quarter, but outscored the Pioneers 16-4 over the final 10 minutes for their 13th consecutive victory.

On a night when leading scorers Lucie Hoskova, Paula Orenes Sanchez and Emily Robertson combined for just 13 points, Ashlie Larson picked up the slack with a game-high 21 points.

Bruna Vila Artigues added nine points and Mya Jones eight for the T-Birds, who host Western Wyoming Community College on Saturday.
