The Region IX North sub-region basketball schedule will have a different look to it next season, the Sheridan Press reported in a story in Tuesday's paper.

The newspaper reported that at Region IX meetings in Denver over the weekend, Eastern Wyoming College and Laramie County Community College will move from the South sub-region to the North sub-region, replacing Miles Community College and Little Big Horn College. The move means all eight teams in the North will now be in Wyoming.

In volleyball, the North and South will no longer have separate postseason tournaments. Instead, all qualifying teams will meet in one location with the winner and the runner-up both advancing to the national tournament.
