The Casper College women's basketball team announced Friday that Gillette senior Madison Hieb had signed with the Thunderbirds.

The 6-foot Hieb averaged 9.9 points and 5.8 rebounds per game for the Camels, who defeated Cheyenne East last month to win their second consecutive Class 4A state title. Hieb had 16 points on 4-of-5 shooting from the field and 7-of-9 from the free throw line.

Hieb will be joining a Casper College team that went 31-3 and won the Region IX championship to qualify for the NJCAA Championship.
