Former Sheridan standout Robbi Ryan has been instrumental in helping No. 24 Arizona State start the season 4-0 heading into Thursday's game against No. 7 Mississippi State in the Cancun Challenge.
The 5-foot-9 sophomore is averaging 10.3 points per game, which is third on the team, off the bench for the Sun Devils. Ryan is shooting 53.6 percent from the field, including a blistering 57.1 percent from behind the arc.
Ryan isn't the only in-state grad in the Pac-12, though, as Kaylee Johnson (Natrona County) is now in her senior season at No. 14 Stanford. The 6-3 Johnson is averaging 3.8 points and 5.3 rebounds per game for the Cardinal.
And Utah State sophomore Jessie Geer (Gillette) averages 4.0 points per game for Utah State. Geer, a 5-8 sophomore, scored two points on 1-of-4 shooting in a 70-67 loss to Southern Utah on Tuesday.
