The 2017 Mountain West Outdoor Track and Field All-Conference Teams were announced on Monday and four Cowboys were honored in addition to two Cowgirls after last weekend's Moutain West Outdoor Championships.

Seniors Scott Carter and Jordan Charles, as well as juniors Ricky Faure and Damon Unland earned all-conference honors. Carter for the long jump and triple jump, Charles for the 110-meter hurdles, Faure for the 800 and Unland in the hammer throw.

Carter won the triple jump and Unland won the hammer throw at the conference championships.

Senior distance runner Audra DeStefano completed her career at Wyoming with all-conference honors in the 3,000-meter steeplechase while sophomore Emelda Malm-Annan was honored for her performance in the hammer throw.

The NCAA West Regional Prelims begin on Thursday at 10 a.m.
