The University of Wyoming women's golf team finished fourth out of 12 teams after the final round had concluded at the Entrada Classic on Tuesday Afternoon. It was the team's fourth top-five finish of the season.
Gabrielle Gibson led the Cowgirls with a season-best 70 (2-under par) in the final round, finishing 13th to finish in the top 15 for the second straight meet.
Meanwhile, freshman Erin Sargent tied for 25th for her fourth top-25 placement of the season while sophomore Megan Knadler tied for 27th and finished just a shot behind her teammate. Klara Castillo tied for 29th, making her the fourth Cowgirl to place in the top 30.
Wyoming returns to the links for the two-day Lady Thunderbird Invitational beginning on Thursday.
