Five University of Wyoming wrestlers earned top-four pre-seeds at the Big 12 Championships, which begin on Saturday in Tulsa, Okla.

Bryce Meredith is the highest seeded Cowboy, earning the No. 2 spot at 141 pounds. He was the bronze medalist at last year's conference meet before winning the silver at the NCAA Championship.

Drew Templeman and Branson Ashworth each received No. 3 seeds with Templeman at 125 pounds and Ashworth at 165 pounds.

Cole Mendenhall and Archie Colgan both earned the fourth seed in their respective weight classes. Mendenhall (149) has nine pins in his senior season while Colgan (157) is 6-2 against conference opponents.

Outside of the top four, Brandon Tribble at 285 and Kyle Pope at 174 each were pre-seeded at No. 6 in their weight classes. Luke Paine (197) and Ronnie Stevens (125) round out the Cowboys lineup with Paine at No. 9 and Stevens at No. 10.
