Bryce Meredith wrestled in one of the featured matches at the NWCA All-Star Classic at Princeton's Jadwin Gym on Sunday and the senior lost on a late reversal to drop a 8-7 decision to former teammate Kevin Jack of North Carolina State.

Meredith scored a third period reversal to take a lead before Jack tallied the match-winning points with just seven seconds remaining.

The Cheyenne native was the seventh Cowboy to wrestle at the NWCA All-Star Classic, the top college wrestling meet that formally signals the beginning of the season.

The Cowboys open the dual-meet segment of their season on Nov. 17 at Nebraska.
