The University of Wyoming Cowgirls soccer team showcased its offense in the preseason Brown and Gold game on Sunday morning at Louis S. Madrid Sports Complex, with the Brown team winning 4-1.

In just the second minute sophomore Michaela Stark opened the scoring before senior Alisha Bass beat senior goalkeeper Georgia Rowntree for another goal. Redshirt sophomore Summer Taube scored in the second half and junior Brittney Stark scored on a penalty kick 10 minutes later.

Assistant coach Matt Callaway scored the Gold team's only goal.

The Cowgirls play South Dakota State on Friday in Hastings, Nebraska at 5 p.m. for their only exhibition match before the season begins.
