John Murdock and Glenn Workman both shot a 72 to lead the University of Wyoming men's golf team to a second-round 290, tying the Cowboys for seventh late Saturday at the Ka'anapali Collegiate Classic in Lahaina, Hawai'i.

Drew McCullough shot a 73 in the second round to fall down the standings and into a tie for sixth.

Murdock moved into a tie for 52nd with teammate Arron Lickteig while Workman shuffled up the leaderboard and into a tie for 68th.

The Cowboys battled windy conditions to post their seventh-lowest team score during the second round.

Wyoming was paired with Georgia, Indian and Kansas for Sunday's final round.
