The University of Wyoming swimming and diving teams each stayed in third place at the Mizzou Invite after Friday's late second day wrapped up at Mizzou Aquatic Center in Columbia, Mo. The Cowboys and their 415.50 points trail only Missouri and Drury while the Cowgirls are behind Missouri and Nebraska with 316.

Senior Maria Harutjunjan took sixth in the 100 breaststroke and was part of the Cowgirl 200 medley relay team that shatter a season-best time by 4 seconds for the team. The 800 freestyle relay team took fifth after finishing less than 3 seconds behind second-place Nebraska.

The Cowboys advanced senior Wade Nelson with a third place finish in the 400 individual medley while fellow senior Ryan Ball took seventh.

The Mizzou Invite concluded late Saturday.
